There were some great goals scored on the opening weekend of the English Premier League last weekend. It was one scored by Mason Greenwood that caught our eye the most for the high level processing involved in the goal. The pass is superb, but understand the processing of Greenwood as you watch the clip. He sees the play build, then times his run to coincide with Pogba gathering the ball in space. He then angles his run to create space to pass into, but in such a way that his momentum gains the advantage vs the defender! It’s a truly top class piece of movement from the teenager.
