Karamoko Dembele was recently awarded the player of the tournament at the prestigious Bassevelde Cup in Belgium were he and his U13 team mates put a highly rated Borussia Dortmond to the sword in the final.
That player of the tournament award in Belgium was Karamoko's second in recent months following on from his sensational showing at The St Kevins Boys Academy Cup in Easter. Although Karamoko has a long way to go in his development the early signs are very promising. An explosive winger with incredible power and pace for one so young he has already come onto the radar of other professional academy clubs Manchester City and FC Barcelona who took note of the youngster following his exceptional displays vs their very own U13 side in Dublin last April.
Just turned thirteen years of age it is far to early to make any predictions as to what lies ahead in the career of this talented young man. One thing is certain, if he keeps progressing as he has done and maintains his focus, health, whilst staying injury free and ambitious there is a very real possibility this will not be the last we hear of Karamoko Dembele.
